The Effect of Alpha, Beta, and Dopamine Receptor-Blocking Agents on the Stimulation of Rat Erythrocyte Adenyl Cyclase by Dihydroxyphenethylamines and Their beta-Hydroxylated Derivatives

Herbert Sheppard and Charles R. Burghardt

Author's Correction : In the paper by Herbert Sheppard and Charles R. Burghardt entitled "The Effect of Alpha, Beta, and Dopamine Receptor-Blocking Agents on the Stimulation of Rat Erythrocyte Adenyl Cyclase by Dihydroxyphenethylamines and Their beta-Hydroxylated Derivatives" which appeared in the Journal, volume 7, pp. 1-7, 1971, the authors have requested the following correction: Page 6, right column, second paragraph, the first sentence should read: "The failure of other investigators to demonstrate activation of adenyl cyclase by dopamine is not understood, but may be related to the relatively small stimulation (1-2-fold) achieved with NE over basal levels of cyclic 3',5'-AMP production.
