Pharmacol. 50:1000-1009 (1996)], which appeared in the October 1996 issue, Fig. 9 on page 1007 is incorrect. The authors have supplied a corrected figure, which is printed below. This correction does not alter the main conclusion reported in the article.

Fig. 9.   Accumulation of c-fos and c-myc mRNA in VSMCs treated with ATP and its inhibition by Reactive blue 2 and staurosporine. Cells were incubated with Reactive blue 2 (RB) or staurosporine (SP) for 30 min and then stimulated with 100 µM ATP for 30 min (c-fos) or 4 hr (c-myc). After fractionation of 10 µg samples on an agarose gel and transfer to nylon membrane, the level of c-fos and c-myc expression was determined by hybridization to random primed cDNA probes (specific activity, 3.3 X 108 cpm/µg).
