AB  - Prednisolone administration stimulated glucose incorporation into glycogen with no change in the degree of randomization of carbon atoms 1 and 6 of the glucose residues incorporated. From this result it is concluded that the hormone produces an effect on the direct pathway from hexose to glycogen.
