RT Journal Article SR Electronic T1 Metabolic Integrity of Deoxyribonucleohistones during Enzyme Induction JF Molecular Pharmacology JO Mol Pharmacol FD American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics SP 303 OP 305 VO 3 IS 3 A1 PAUL BYVOET YR 1967 UL http://molpharm.aspetjournals.org/content/3/3/303.abstract AB Previous work has shown that after individual labeling of histone and DNA of various normal and neoplastic tissues of the rat, the first-order decay rates of their respective specific activities were approximately similar. The present studies indicate that the normal turnover of histones in liver parenchymal cells is not altered during periods of alternate enzyme induction and repression resulting from dietary changes or drug injections.
