AB  - Dopamine β-hydroxylase from bovine adrenal medulla has been prepared in a form free from antigenic contaminants. The purified enzyme was used to induce the production of immunologically pure antienzyme in rabbits. The latter was utilized in the indirect immunofluorescent method for localization of dopamine β-hydroxylase in peripheral tissues and brain. Time cross-reactivity of the antibody to the bovine enzyme permits its application to studies with tissues from laboratory animals.
