SR membranes (50 μg/ml) were incubated in the absence or presence of NQ as described in Fig. 6B. Data were analyzed by nonlinear regression analysis (ENZFITTER, Elsevier Biosoft). Specific [3H]ryanodine binding as a function of incubation time was fit with an exponential, from which equilibrium or maximal binding (Beq), apparent association rate constant (kobs), and apparent half-time (T1/2) were calculated. The values are the average of two experiments, each performed in duplicate.
