Effect of preincubation with genistein (40 μM) for 1 h on clozapine-induced apoptosis in the presence or absence of the activating system. Genistein was preincubated for 1 h with PMNs before the addition of clozapine and was compared to incubations in the absence of genistein. Data are presented as the mean ± S.E. of three different triplicate experiments. Statistical analysis (Kruskal-Wallis test) was performed by comparing incubations in the presence and absence of genistein.
