Inhibition of histamine-stimulated total [3H]inositol phosphate accumulation in CHO-H1 cells by PDBu

The inhibition was reversed by cotreatment with 10 μM Ro-31-8220 or after 24-h preincubation with 1 μM PDBu. The accumulation of total [3H]inositol phosphates was measured as described underExperimental Procedures. Values represent mean ± S.E.M. from three experiments. Data are expressed as a percentage of the control response to 300 nM histamine alone.
↵2-150 Response after 30-min PDBu (1 μM) pretreatment was significantly lower (P < 0.01) than the control response obtained after parallel pretreatment with 4α-phorbol (1 μM).
