Currents activated by a GABA concentration that elicited 1 to 5% of the maximal current amplitude were standardized to 100%. The relative current amplitude in the presence of drug after subtraction of the current induced by GABA alone (100%) is given. All experiments were carried out with recombinant α1β2γ2 GABAA receptors expressed in X. laevis oocytes.
