Growth in the presence and absence of adenosine deaminase For each mutant, 600 cells were cultured on agar and the effect of 1.3 IU/ml adenosine deaminase in the presence or absence of 3-AT (7.0 mM) was determined in triplicate. Results are expressed as the density ratio of the growth in the presence and in the absence of adenosine deaminase. Data are presented as mean ± S.D.
