Effect of 5-HT4(b) and 5-HT7(a) receptor expression on β-adrenoceptor cell-surface receptor density The density of β-adrenoceptors and serotonin receptors at the cell surface was determined in EcR293 cells induced to express either 5-HT4(b) or 5-HT7(a) receptors. Cell-surface receptor density was determined as described under Materials and Methods. Data shown are the mean ± S.E.M. from four experiments.
