Apigenin markedly inhibits the expression of costimulatory molecules (CD80, CD86, and CD40) and MHC class I and II molecules on LPS-stimulated CD11c + DC

BM-derived DC were cultured in the absence or presence of 20 μM apigenin following the 200 ng/ml LPS stimulation for 24 h. The expression of surface molecules was analyzed by FACSCalibur. Two-color flow cytometry was used to determine the level of antigen expression on CD11c + DC. The results are from one experiment of three performed.
