Equilibrium inhibition constants for dictyostatin and its analogs calculated from Hanes analysis of [14C]epothilone B competition experiments
Concentrations used ranged from 0.25 to 12 μM for the inhibitors dictyostatin, 6-epi-dictyostatin, and 7-epi-dictyostatin. For the less potent inhibitors, concentrations used ranged from 1 to 50 μM. [14C]Epothilone B concentrations were 1, 2, 2.5, and 3 μM for all experiments. Free inhibitor concentration was calculated by subtracting the amount of tracer displaced by the inhibitor from the total amount of inhibitor added.
