Transfection efficiency and fluorescence intensity of GFP-fused chimeras

HeLa cells were transfected with the GFP-fused chimeras; after 24 h, cells were resuspended and analyzed by flow cytometry for transfection efficiency and construction expression rate. The calculated V_max values (obtained from Supplemental Figure 2) were normalized to the fluorescence intensity values. Fluorescence intensity is expressed in arbitrary units. Data are expressed as the mean ± S.D. of three experiments carried out on different days on different batches of cells.
