Weight gain and food intake of mice during the diet-only period
Mice were fed the high-fat diet or standard chow for 6 weeks. Food consumption and weight gain were monitored twice weekly. Plasma leptin and insulin were determined by radioimmunoassay at the end of the 6 weeks (n = 35 in each group). All data are means ± S.E.M.
