Gli autori dimostrano che l'aumento della respirazione dei leucociti durante la fagocitosi non è dovuto a fuoriuscita di una NADH-ossidasi dai granuli, ma alla maggiore attività NADH e soprattutto NADPH-ossidasica localizzata in granuli non lisati.
