In the presence of U73122, an antagonist of PLC [30], or GF109203X (a PKC inhibitor), ACh-stimulated vasoconstrictions were attenuated in the present study, indicating M-receptors-PLC-PKC signaling pathway was involved [31]. Previous studies showed that ACh’s vascular effects were partly mediated by cyclooxygenase products [32] .
