Molecular Pharmacology’s monthly issues publish key findings derived from the application of innovative structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics, physiology, genetics, and molecular biology to basic pharmacological problems that provide novel insights that are relevant to the broad fields of pharmacology and toxicology.
Articles report the structural basis of drug-protein interactions, the impact of receptor function on cell or system physiology, receptor-linked intracellular signaling systems, inter- and intracellular signaling pathways, enzyme or transporter function, ion channel function, transcriptional mechanisms, molecular mechanisms underlying important behaviors and/or disease. A subset of articles describe experiments that elucidate basic pharmacological mechanisms of agonism, antagonism, and allosteric modulation. The journal also presents studies involving molecular and computational modeling relevant to dug design or drug action.
For every issue, the table of contents (TOC) as well as the Future TOC and Fast Forward alerts (articles published ahead of an issue) are emailed to registered individuals. When you buy an email alert ad, your ad is placed in all of these alerts that are disseminated monthly and several times weekly. Molecular Pharmacology receives over 740,000 hits per month.
