The following manuscript was published as a Fast Forward article on November 30, 2018:

Rodier E, Niday Z, Doci K, Wang L, Nan F-J, Gao Z-B, and Tzingounis AV. Inhibition of KCNQ2/3 channels by HN38 and XE991 depends on the conformation of the outer vestibule. Mol Pharmacol, mol.118.113407; DOI: https://doi.org/10.1124/mol.118.113407

After publication, the article’s corresponding author, AV Tzingounis, discovered that several errors had been made that call into question the major findings of the study. A crucial experiment will have to be repeated with a larger sample size to either confirm or dispute the conclusions presented in the paper. The editor has decided to withdraw the paper.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause Molecular Pharmacology's readers.
