A research misconduct finding against the first author revealed falsified and/or fabricated data in the article referenced above, most notably in the duplication of tubulin or actin loading control blots in Figs. 4A,B and 3B and PARP blots for Fig. 2C. Additionally, duplications of tubulin and other proteins were noted in Figs. 1D, 1E, 6A, and 9A. Molecular Pharmacology has retracted this article.
