RT Journal Article SR Electronic T1 Inhibition of Sodium- and Potassium-Dependent Adenosine Triphosphatase by Serotonin JF Molecular Pharmacology JO Mol Pharmacol FD American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics SP 181 OP 184 VO 13 IS 1 A1 SIXTO GARCÍA-CASTINEIRAS A1 JOHN I. As the serotonin-creatinine sulfate complex (commercial preparations) its inhibitory potency is sharply reduced. Inhibition is fully restored on fractionation of the complex on cation-exchange resins. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS We thank Professor J. del Castillo and Mr. F. McKenzie for their generous supply of E. electricus and P. caribaeorum.
