Less than 1% of the [3H]F3dTTP incorporated in the cell-free system was recovered at the 3'-termini. In addition, F3dTTP-containing DNA was capable of incorporating [3H]dTTP, which led to the complete disappearance of radioactive trifluorothymidine from the 3'-termini.
