Values are presented as mean ± S.E.M., exceptK D values, which are presented as mean (95% confidence interval), derived from n experiments. The GTP shift values and their statistical significance, as well as the significance of K D values, were calculated from paired experiments in which control and test conditions were performed in the same day in the same batch of freshly isolated hippocampal membranes. The control values are pooled data from all of the control experiments of each tested G protein modifier.
