There were no significant differences (p > 0.05) on any of the measures between α5 −/− and α5 +/+ mice. A total of 17 α5 −/− mice (12 male and 5 female) and 18 α5 +/+ mice (13 male and 5 female) were studied. The numbers in parentheses represent the S.E.M. of the data presented.
